Bea, 16.1hh grey jumping mare. 7yo. Belgian warmblood. Distinctive horse shoe shape mark on her face, between her eyes. Stolen for the Lewes/Uckfield, south east england area on Thursday 3rd July 2008, between 8 and 10 pm, however could be anywhere by now. Microchipped. Very affectionate, at the time of theft she was slightly overweight with lighter dapples due to recent holiday. Crib bites a lot, especially when stressed, and really bangs at doors or scrapes her feet if food is around. Due to a medical condition, she is on a specialist diet, and under medical observation. We have reason to believe she is in transit to be sold on, and may be heading to the continent. Please keep an eye out for her, particularly at shows, sales and auctions. If you have any information on where she is, where she is going, or you have seen her, please phone Louise on 07846 548161, or email i_lurf_smurf@hotmail.co.uk . Reward for any substantial information leading to her return.
Back DABBS if you want Showjumping in the East of SCOTLAND!!!!!
Due to decisions made by Scottish Branch and Dalry Farmers Society, we are not allowed to run a Senior Show on Sunday 18th May 2008 because they say it will reduce the number of competitors at Dalry Show. This decision was made unfairly against Dabbs, and competitors in the East of Scotland. I would ask all competitors to contact Scottish Branch and question why this decision was made against Dabbs. Scottish branch are refusing to allow Dabbs to hold a Senior Advance/Progressive Schedule on the 7th June 2008 because it clashes with Newmlins Show in Ayrshire. Does Scottish Branch not support Show Centres in the East coast? If you live in the East of Scotland and compete at BSJA Shows and want to compete at Dabbs, please support us with this matter, if you don't, we are not prepared to hold BSJA Shows at Dabbs. Please let me know were you STAND!!!!!!!!!!!.
Please email us to let us know you are behind us on this matter. We would be greatful to anyone who could send an email to Scottish Branch Christine Harkin -
Jane Pelly -
and National BSJA Jackie Wood -

Notice to all bsja Competitors, both Junior and Senior.
As of 1st Feb 2008 the following rule will apply to all competitors and officials at Dabbs. Dabbs Show & Activity Centre wishes to strongly emphasise to competitors and officals, the need to start classes on time and to ensure they run in a timely manner without delay. There is also a strong onus and duty on riders to co-operate by coming into the ring to compete when requested by the Judges to do so. Failure to comply with these requests may result in a Judge having to exert their authority in what ever way they see fit to prevent to assist with the running of a class. In this regard Dabbs Show & Activity Centre also wishes to advise judges and competitors that they have a duty to the sport to implement the rules and thereby play their part in avoiding unnecessary delays.
